Solvay Continues Expansion in Greenville - Novemebr 2019

Solvay breaks ground on Aerospace Resin Mixing plant in Greenville, TX, USA


Greenville, TX, November 6th 2019 --- Solvay held a groundbreaking ceremony at its Greenville, TX site to celebrate the start of construction for a new resin mixing facility where the company will manufacture products for high performance aerospace structural applications.


The City of Greenville, Greenville Board of Development, and Hunt County Commissioners were instrumental in supporting this capacity investment which will result in new local jobs for people in the City of Greenville, Hunt County and surrounding areas. "I am very proud that my team and I have been able to support this new investment and renew our continued support to a key regional employer such as Solvay” said Mayor David Dreiling, City of Greenville, Texas. “Solvay carefully selects sites for capacity expansions. Greenville TX is one of our largest sites and offers a knowledgeable and experienced workforce along with technology and infrastructure synergies to support the demanding market needs of our customers. The expansion will enable us to support strategic aerospace programs and further solidifies Greenville’s contribution to our company’s success. We are grateful for the local authorities ongoing advocacy” said Alain Faessler, Senior Executive Vice-President and Industrial Director for Solvay Composite Materials Global Business Unit. Solvay’s Greenville TX site currently has over 375 full time employees and recruiting efforts are ongoing.
